Latest Sniff This Out:
If you haven't heard the great news, this year Parque Zaragoza Neighborhood Association [PZNA] with Parque Zaragoza Recreation Center [PZRC] Staff and recreation center teens are asking for volunteers for Fall It’s My Park Day hosted by Austin Parks Foundation.

When you volunteer for It's My Park Day, local businesses participate with special giveaways and promotions.
Wear your T-Shirt on It's My Park Day and "Get Back When You Give."

See the awesome list of local businesses participating to say thanks for volunteering!

Volunteers must register with Austin Parks Foundation and provide important information including signing a liability waiver, providing a medical emergency contact and your T-Shirt size. In order to participate you must register and sign the liability wavier. So, why wait? Register by clicking here.

Beautify and Cleanup Parque Zaragoza volunteers will cleanup and refresh the butterfly and vegetable gardens in front of the recreation center, paint raised garden beds, add compost and new vegetable and herb plants where needed. We will also cleanup trash and debris around the park!

Parque Zaragoza Neighborhood is proud to join the largest city-wide volunteer event along with thousands of volunteers that come together on the first Saturdays of March and November to work on hundreds of improvement projects in parks and greenbelts throughout the city. The volunteer labor on these days represents an investment of over a quarter of a million dollars for our Austin’s parks.

Rain Policy:

If it rains on Saturday, projects will commence up to one hour late.
If rain persists, projects are to start at their original time on Sunday.
If the weekend is rained out, please contact PZNA to find out about rescheduling for another date.

Also, by knowing in advance how many are registered, we can make sure to  have enough snacks and tools for people to be able to participate.

PZNA thanks you in advance for helping us make our community the best it can be.
